That’s a real steamer, son. I don’t think you could survive a confrontation with a renegade kindergartner. Style doesn’t matter? So I can study the ancient art of curling up in a ball on the floor and win then, right? Style is everything! It determines how much power you generate, how you select your targets, how you defend, how you keep your balance.

I’ve seen (and fought) intense, unskilled guys with tons of ‘fighting spirit.’ Skill has the upper hand, not naked aggression. The head thing shows how little you know of boxing or defending. It hurts a hell of a lot worse to take a knee in the solar plexus or a liver punch than a hit in the head.

Any proper fighter keeps his knockout line (up and over from behind the ear and down under the chin) hidden as much as possible and trains to take the rest as it comes, in the head or not. The last line is a nice assumption about ‘most people.’ I don’t think people as clueless about fighting should bother talking about ‘most people.’You should talk about you, and why you really believe disco-dancing capoeira is of any use outside of the dancefloor.
