Capoeira is a dance-fight-game-martial art-way of life. When you get into Capoeira, you get the whole package of a lifestyle! It’s entertainingly fun/dance-like… it’s an offensive/defensive fight/martial art (does have lockings and take-down techniques too - well… depends on your teacher hehe)… a game (of trickery/malicia/malandragem) and the chance to meet as many brazilians as you can… and get hooked to their lively lifestyle of music, dance, booze, parties, etc. lol…. Seriously… its a whole lifestyle. It’s also got some philosophical/spiritual aspects incorporated in it… again… if you have the right teacher. Fortunately, I get fed with the whole package by my Mestres. hehe
