All I can say about Choy Lay Fut is this. I regularly attend local Muay Thai Fight Nights here in Australia. There is this Choy Lay Fut guy that comes in and fights regularly and I have not seen him lose to a Muay Thai fighter yet. And he has fought some pretty good ones. Talking amatuer level here but its still impressive.

The Muay Thai guys seem very linear in comparison to the deceptive looping circular style of Choy Lay Fut. Its quite fun to see. Having never sparred against the style before you can see most of the muay thai guys he fights against thinking wtf.
