I myself practice Wing Chun, as well as Jeet Kune Do, and the styles work amazingly well together. Of course, in my own personal opinion, NOONE should claim to practice Jeet Kune Do until they have MASTERED at LEAST three other styles. My primary forms are Drunken Boxing, Tai Ch’i, and Wing Chun. Secondary forms are Judo, White Crane, and Capoeira. Jeet Kune Do is the medium I use to blend the strengths and weaknesses of each of these martial arts into a volatile mixture of fists, elbows, and knees that is undoubtedly fatal. So no, Jay, it would be good to have a base to build upon when learning JKD; you need three.
