Martial arts know to the western world originated from Asia. If you actually research into the art of fighting you would notice that all over the African continent, Nigeria, Eypgt, Sudan there are theories, concepts and practices of armed/unarmed fighting systems which are older than some of martial arts you mentioned.

In fact I think the nubians (in present day Sudan) who migrated to China and were the first dynasty - known as the shang dynasty were black Africans (occu- to okinawa) who influenced the development of karate!

Also the first summaria who fought the Anui (people who lived in northen Japan) were African. The word sammuria means “to guard”. There are quite a alot of old Japanese proverbs which read “to be a summaria one must have a taint/half of black blood”. These Africans were also known to be courageous!

If you doubt this check shang dynasty in the internet! Do your investigation. They were Africans who migrated to south eastern china. They also moved to present day Thailand, Indonesia and Malayasia.

Africans settled and interbraided with those who migrated to morden japan.
