Josh - I would seriously recommend Jujutsu. I have studied a variety of hard and soft martial arts, and of the three i would say it was most suitable. Many people see it as a soft style for some reason, but it has a very aggressive, very intimidating style.

I have seen practitioners of other martial arts take a big step back as they recognize the stance of their opponent, because they understand the threat Jujutsu poses.

Needless to say its very effective in the street, and not extremely difficult to learn.
