Josh - I am a 1st Dan in Judo, love it and could easily boast about the strengths of Judo as a martial art but having experienced a little bit of everything i personally would agree with following a bit of Jujitsu it encompases some judo throws and a good grappling element. It also does have some strikes etc, it is an aggressive style and is fairly simple. If you want a bit of all round knowledge stick to that and then branch out as the interest takes you!
