I just read about ju-jitsu..I tought ju-jitsu come from samuraï technique when samuraï lost is weapon use technique of ju-jitsu……..?

I’m 6th degree in ju-jitsu and my master taught me ju-jitsu come from samuraï combat technique wihtout weapon to desarme opponent..
