well as a practioner myself Kendo is the art of killing to begin with however today people who dont have respect toward the art begin to use it as a act of crime to terrioze people. Practioners are more aware of what they are doing in the dojo and it is most unlikely that someone will end up hurt or killed, but still you must have that embodiment of Kendo in the old days.
