I would also agree that the IKCA version of Kenpo is a most effective protection style.
However, a basic knowledge of boxing added to any Kenpo system provided that the person using it was in decent shape would equal the effectiveness of Muay Thai, Krav or any Military system.
The boxing knowledge is necessary since that is what a MA would face in striking range on the street.
