I trained under Olaf Simon in the 80’s and I really liked him, I concider myself to be one of the lucky ones. He was as old as my mother and kicking 8 feet into the air with little effort, when you are 70 + years old you’d be lucky to do the same. We were lucky to live in the same small town as such a teacher,Why so many want to put him down would look to be more about buisness and title. Olaf Simon was a master of many diffrent styles of fighting and the title grandmaster might be in order if you concider all he has done, but people focus on the particulars and not the whole of what he teaches and or has done.
