Pretty interesting comments and compliments to see about Kick Boxing! I have learnt Judo, Aki-Do and Muay Thai but I used to train KICK BOXING!! Frankly speaking, Kick Boxing is the only official name in India for Muay Thai and Thai Boxing which means you can not get a certificate to teach Muay Thai but you will get a certificate to open a school on KICK BOXING. That’s exactly the point why I closed the school. There are many “Smart A**” who have casual attitude and they want to show off or want to have that “guy” thing by learning something called the “street fighting”!! I hope you all got the point about KICK-BOXING!! I am not insulting the word “kick-boxing” but I am pointing at the most general attitude behind it. As far as I know there is no such martial arts called Kick Boxing in true sense.

Now, to answer Kisore’s question: If you truly want to learn martial arts you first need to be disciplined, organized, be able to diffuse anger and be loyal. You also need to realize that there are no such martial arts which can be named “the most fatal” or “the best” or “the dangerous”. What you see in movies is mostly an exaggeration of all varieties of martial arts. Each one of’em can be fatal, dangerous or can also be simply self-dense with out much damage to the opponent. All matters on your attitude, the situation you are in and how much have you actually learnt!! It’s a science and it’s an art as well. Science can be used to help people or to destroy people as well. It’s the same for art. But the point is the power and positive energy in an art where you have science in side is absolutely cosmic!! If you have the correct attitude my friend you can not believe how martial art can help you to become one of the best in everything you do…and I mean “Everything” you do…starting from brushing your teeth to healing your headache with out an aspirin!!
