Why does everyone treat Bruce Lee like he’s the ultimate martial artist? How much reading have you done about Bruce, the way he lost a fight to the famous Wong Jack Man in San Francisco and then said the next day that he’d won. Wong then offered him a public bout, and Bruce got quiet.
I’ve trained with some of Bruce Lee’s former students, all of whom said Bruce’s mouth was what got him into trouble. And what of Bruce’s teacher? Bruce offered him money to teach him the remaining forms of Wing Chun. Yip Man was so insulted he refused to teach Bruce anymore, so Bruce didn’t go to his funeral. Not the kind of man I look up to.
