KM does not focus on punching like boxing focuses on punching. To say a KM stylist’s punch is going to match the speed, power, and accuracy of a boxer’s just because he’s gotten a little knowledge of those punches is like expecting soccer players to kick like karatekas because they can kick a ball so hard.
KM guys don’t specialize and drill their punches nor do they move like boxers. Why do you even bother comparing? I believe that KM is great for hurting people who are trying to hurt you, but you’re reaching with this idea. Stick to knocking guns out of people’s hands. It’s what you guys do well. I don’t know how to do that. Just like you guys don’t know how to throw decent hooks.
