in another challenge, 3 kyokushin karateka fought 3 thai champions - winning 2 out of 3 matches

Another of mas oyamas disciples travelled to thailand and had several fights against many thai champions and won the majority (not all)

And in very recent times, we have had a kyokushin vs K1 fight card with 3 fights under kyokushin rules and 3 under k1 rules - the result was a clean sweep by the kyokushin team

Also notice that their have been several kyokushin karateka fighting in k1 - Andy Hug(a k1 world champion), Glaube Feitoso & Francisco Filho - k1 finalists, plus others

This does not mean that kyokushin fighters beat all others - but it does mean that it is an very effective (and proven) fighting art
