Hello! Y’all,

Of course we are very proud of what our ancient ancestor has left for us!! Somehow we have failed to fully preserved our most valuable knowledge our fore father had found!!

Modern khmer of all ages, are very disturbed to know that our neighbor been using and promoting Thai boxing, that were thought to be stollen from Cambodia, may be when thai captured angkor in mid 13 century or so! Well some say that thai shall not using word (Muy Thai) to call this art of kick boxing but instead thai shall use word as: Sowanaphoum Boxing!! As far as we all shall know it won’t happen anny time soon!!

Only if Cambodia become the most power full country in the world and Cambodia rule this planet!! it may be possible to have our neighbor change the name of the art to. But there is one way and only:

During the 60th and the 70th cambodian boxing federation had sucessfully trained our Khmer kick boxer so well, and evry time they compete with our thai friend they either kick or punch thai boxer all the way back to stone ages, Khmer boxer such as: Mr. Kheiow Soeurn and Mr. Ly Chhun Hong: Theoe two masters had wond bout after bout against our Muy Thai opponent all the time.

My opinion. freinds: To bring back the dignity and prestige of our Ancient Khmer (sowanaphoum kick boxing) is to train our athlete to master their skill and kick our opponent all the way back to stone age all da time!! Then we can say that Sowanaphoum kick Boxing has been the only original master. Please reply to me about my comment.
