It’s not ignorance to say that ninjutsu is a joke. My derision has been proven out by firsthand observation.

If you have such esoteric leanings, I suggest you discard your affinity for Old Japan and get down the the real internal stuff, Chi Gung, Hsing-Yi, Ba Gua Zhang, and Tai Chi. Those are martial arts for life. They will keep you strong and supple into your 80s. I’ve seen it.

But if you want to dress up with your daughter and pretend you’re both on a mission to assassinate the Emperor, have fun.

You may never become an effective martial artist that way, but you will be an outstanding father.
