The “art” as in martial art clearly revealed in Pencak Silat. In the hand of an expert “pesilat”, many harmless objects may turn into weapon, for instance “sarong”.

The problem is; the application in real fight is excruciatingly difficult, it needs quite sometime to apply Pencak Silat in a brutal street fight.
