i’m from Malaysia..i’ve some friends that have been involved in pentjak silat, but there are some styles that originated from Malaysia itself such as the silat gayung, silat selendang hitam, and a lot more.

most of them are performed with soft-like fluid movement similar to tai-chi and pa kua.
