The idea that all martial arts originated in China is non-sense. China has possible Indian influences in its artforms just as it has probably influenced Indian MAs.

Likewise, African-Martiniquaise (Martinican) Danmye/Ladja owes nothing to Chinese MAs. It is a composite art derivative of several related but originally separately practiced African combatives that were taken to Martinique during the enslavement of Africans there. The same goes for Congolese-Cuban Mani, and African-Brazilian Capoeira.

It is doubtful that Savate, likewise, is the root of any Chinese combative.
