TKD is pretty much all Korean (but yes, like any other art many of the techniques were ‘borrowed’ from other arts.
I’ve seen some TKD masters who emphasis hands .vs. feet about 50/50 while others 30/70 (lots more kicking.)
TSD tends to have more kicking and emphasizes counter attacks instead of strait attacking (as TKD does.)
Now days TKD puts lots of emphasis on fast kicking at the expense of correct form (for power.) That’s ok but the two arts do have much difference in ideas and applications, even if people who see them both think they are alike.
